how to change the label color in final cut pro x?

in final cut pro

to change the clip color

like premiere pro 'label'

i know there's a way in final cut pro 'Roles'

audio roles, video roles

i know that

but

if the video clip is connected to audio

only can it be changed when after 'detach audio'

then there's a chance to be out of sync

why can't it just make the color to change ?
