스팟라이트 검색 먹통인데 재부팅하면 잠깐 됨 / Spotlight search not working, only works briefly after reboot

아이폰에서 스팟라이트 검색이 갑자기 안됨. 앱 검색도 안되고 메시지 검색도 안되고 설정 안에서 검색도 전부 안됨.

이상한 점은 재부팅하면 잠깐은 정상적으로 검색이 되는데, 조금 지나면 다시 전부 먹통이 됨.

이게 언제부터 생긴 건지 애매한데 26.3.1 업데이트 전인지 후인지도 잘 모르겠고, 26.4로 올려도 그대로임. 저장공간 문제는 아닌 것 같고 iCloud 용량도 넉넉하게 늘려둔 상태라 이것도 아닌 듯.

느낌상 인덱싱 꼬인 문제 같은데 확실하진 않음.

찾아보니까 나만 겪는 건 아닌 것 같긴 한데, 이걸 어떻게 재현해야 하는지 설명이 어려움. 나도 그냥 어느 순간 갑자기 이렇게 됨.

혹시 같은 증상 있는 사람 있는지, 초기화 말고 해결 방법 있는지 궁금함.

기기 새로 사면 해결될지 고민되는데 iCloud로 복원하면 그대로일 것 같아서 좀 무서움.

이런 케이스 애플 쪽에도 전달돼서 원인 좀 잡혔으면 좋겠음.

My iPhone’s search function suddenly stopped working. Spotlight can’t find apps, Messages search doesn’t work, and even search inside Settings is completely broken.

What’s weird is that right after a reboot, search works normally for a short time, but then it stops working again.

I’m not sure when this started. It might be around the iOS 26.3.1 update, but I’m not certain. Updating to 26.4 didn’t fix it either. It doesn’t seem like a storage issue, and I already upgraded my iCloud storage so that shouldn’t be the cause.

Feels like some kind of indexing issue, but not sure.

From what I’ve seen, I don’t think I’m the only one experiencing this, but it’s really hard to provide clear repro steps. It just happened randomly for me.

Has anyone else run into this? Any fixes besides a full reset?

Also wondering if getting a new iPhone would fix it, but I’m worried the issue might carry over if I restore from iCloud.

Would be great if something like this could get reported to Apple so they can look into it.
