Screen Time Unlock at age 18

My Screen Time is currently managed by my parents via Family Sharing, and I recently turned 18. I was under the impression that once you turn 18, control over Screen Time management automatically transfers to the child without any conditions—and that leaving the Family Sharing group becomes an option—but neither my phone nor my mother's phone shows any changes to the interface compared to before I turned 18 (even though the age is correctly displayed as 18). Does anyone happen to know the details about this?

Hi!

I found several other users reporting the same issue, including this post:

According to Apple, users who turn 18 should be able to manage their own Screen Time settings or leave the Family Sharing group. Since my account still behaves as a child account despite my age being correctly updated to 18, this appears to be a bug or an issue with the account’s age status not being updated properly.
