Help: Unlock Olleh iPhone

Hi all,


first of all, sorry, i'm not a Korean. but i really need some help.


i bought this iPhone from Korea and they said it was FU. but by the time i arrived at my country, the iPhone wont detect a network. so i did my homework and i found that only SK iPhone that FU, and Olleh iPhone is SU.


i heard that Olleh provides country unlock from their iPhones, but unfortunately i didint bring any Olleh simcard to register. i cant even read the homepage 😟


so, any help or information is very much appreciated. or my iPhone will happen to be a very expensive iPod 😟

I made a test call to CS and found that:

After "Do, Do, Do, Olleh!" and Korean announcement, you should press #.

Then again, after some series of Korean announcement, there comes an option for English service, which you should follow.

Try this way and let me know if it worked.

finally after waiting long enough, i could reach the CS... only to find out that she stressed out about having the first number my iphone was registered with.


i guess this is my dead end 🙂 i dont know how we can trace the first number. its ridi****us for me.


my last effort is to ask my friend in korea to submit his current number as my iphone number. i hope this work...

I talked with KT CS again. They say the ownership of the iPhone should be clarified, in order for them to provide country unlock service. At this point, it seems you have no other method but to convince them that you are the legal owner of the iPhone. Try telling them the same thing you have told me--how you got your iPhone. I am sorry. This is the best help that I can give you. :(

i did tell them austin, they said its okay to buy an used iphone, but in order to unlock they must know the original number.

i think i'll just wait for another way to unlock my phone 🙂
